Abstract:Abstract： ［Purposes］ This article sets out to explore the way of enhancement of Chinese STM journals. Some references for the development strategy of Chinese STM journals in a new environment are presented. ［Methods］ Combined with the experience ofProgress in Chemistrymanagement practice, we analyzed a series of measures for traditional Chinese STM journals to enhance domestic and international influence. ［Findings］ The thematic issues, “inheritance and innovation” for introducing the scientific career and academic ideology of chemists, “Mini Accounts” for introducing the outstanding work of young scholars are introduced. Meanwhile, semantic enhancement is used on the GOChemistry platform to bring the best experience for users. ［Conclusions］ The key points to promote Chinese STM journals are feature articles and issues, holding the journal characteristics, and seeking different breakthroughs.
