Abstract:Abstract： ［Purpose］ To investigate the social responsibility and ways of medical professional journals in promotion and popularization of medical knowledge to the public.［Methodology］The necessity on conducting science popularization communication of medical professional journals were analyzed. By introducing the practice of domestic and foreign medical journals conducting science popularization of experience and process of running journals in Publishing House of Guangzhou Medical University， a variety of ways that can be applied to popularize science and expand medical knowledge propaganda were described.［Findings］Science popularization is the responsibility of the medical professional journals. Medical professional journals should broaden breadth spread through column contents of medical professional journals adjusted to enhance the journals news on property， diversified publishing carried out， press conferences， lectures into the community and schools as well as at sites， microblogging， APP， such as micro-channel marketing platform in order to achieve the public dissemination of science awareness and education.［Conclusions］Medical professional journals only applied various pathway to conduct science popularization，then are able to stress professional features and also promoted scientific achievements， so that more people cab benefit from them.
